http://www.hisstank.com/gi-joe-news/attach/4/2/0/1/1/GI-Joe-Retaliation-Brazil-Poster_1336503185.jpg
Genre: Action
Director: John M. Chu
Format that i've seen: IMAX 3D
Studio: Paramount
Distributors: Skydance, Metro Goldwyn Mayer, Hasbro
MPAA: PG-13 for intense sequences of combat violence and martial arts action throughout, and for brief sensuality and language.
Runtime: 110 minutes

The G.I Joes (Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis, Dwayne Johnson, Adrianne Palicki, D.J Cotrona) are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra (Luke Bracey); they are forced to contend with threats from within the government (Johnathan Pryce) that jeopardize their very existence.

Let's talk about the 3D first. The 3D that has been ameliorated (DMR) in IMAX was Visceral! There was a lot of depth and realism throughout the movie. I was all touching and dodging around for that 3D. Now Paramount studios spent a lot of money to convert to 3D and it was worth every penny. The 3D is flawless and well done. That makes some points for this movie.

The performances are meh...... Channing Tatum isn't very in the movie because (SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER) HE DIES!!!!!!!!!! IN THE MOVIE. Dwayne Johnson, as always, is awful. Bruce Willis is excellent as Joe I WANT TO KNOW MORE OF THIS CHARACTER. I MEAN HE IS JOE!!!!! Otherwise, the other performances are awful.

For an action film, it's at least 97% action. It's overly action packed, but the plot really makes no sense so it doesn't matter anyway. The action scenes are awesome and jaw-dropping.

Overall, the film is a lot of fun and it's worth paying the extra $$$ for the 3D.
3/5
VID COMING!!!!!!
