Iron Man 3 (2013) Film Review

Rated PG-13 For Sequences Of Intense Sci-Fi Action And Violence Throughout And Brief Suggetsitve Content.

2hrs 10min/130min.

Sorry. I have not been posting reviews lately due to finishing school and being pretty busy after that. But now I have free-time to write. I saw this film on opening weekend and the film was a blast. Iron Man was a great comic book movie with perfect casting with Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. Iron Man 2 was decent but a bit of a letdown for fans of the first one. Now we have Iron Man 3, without a doubt, this is my favorite in the series. By the way The avengers can count due to an important plot point of this film relating to The Avengers.

The film follows that lovable billionare Tony Stark(Robert Downey Jr.) who recently has been having trouble sleeping due to something he saw in the wormhole from The Avengers. Pepper Potts(Gwenyth Paltrow) tries her very best to help him. Pepper has come across a man named Aldrich Killian(Guy Pearce) who Tony realizes that 13 years ago, he would have worked with this man but Tony instead blew him off. Also he becomes aware of The Mandarin(Ben Kingsley).

Iron Man 3 is what Iron Man 2 should have been. An involving Comic Book Movie. This Movie is filled with fantastic performances by Robert Downey Jr., Gwenyth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Ben Kingsley and Guy Pearce. Guy pearce pulls off quite a menacing role as Killian and was the most fun villian of the franchise. Robert Downy Jr. is great as always and Platrow is very beautiful as is come to expect.

Now there is a scene in Iron Man 3 that has caused quite a bit of controversy. I will not state hat it is but I liked it. Although I could see why fans would be up in arms about it. Now This is certainly not the end of Iron Man Himslef but to me looks like the end of the trilogy. This series has been a hell of a lot of fun and has terrific action scenes, perfect casting and wonderful writing.
