Acting under the cover of a Hollywood producer scouting a location for a science fiction film, a CIA agent (Ben Affleck) launches a dangerous operation to rescue six Americans in Tehran during the U.S hostage crisis in Iran in 1980.

Best picture winner for the academy awards 2013.

Performance-wise, it's a total blast. Ben Affleck is great. And the other actors are great too but the big applause is going to Alan Arkin. Every screen time he's in he's so HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!

      

Funny thing: "What does Argo mean" ARKIN: I DUNNO. IT MEANS ARGO FUCK YOURSELF LOL!!!!!!

For a drama, it's more a suspense and a thriller than a drama because my heart was always pounding the last half hour or so. So I say it's more than a suspense than a drama.

Overall the film is great. It's fun because it has everything. It's funny, it's pounding and it's sad.
