My Top 10 Sci-Fi movies of all time

Before we begin this is my own personal list i may not mention a film you love for example 2001 is not on this list but it is not a movie i enjoy re watching over and over so it is not hear feel free to comment your top 10

A scanner darkly (2006)

What can be said about a scanner darkly? awesome mind bending story the ever cheesy Keanu Reeves awesome Stars along now mega star Robert Downey Jr.   in a movie dont in an amazing animation over real life style i have not seen in any other film to date

Star Trek First Contact (1996)

This movie is fun perhaps the most fun of all the TNG movies everyone plays there parts well and the effects are really well done seeing the Borg actually on earth is an awesome thing for a fan to see i love star trek an i love this movie.

the matrix (1999)

our old friend keanu reeves is back now in a movie that asks us what if the world is just a complex computer program ? an interesting thought now even more to the people in the 90s who wondered how far tech could really go. these days with working vr headsets that idea seems even more real.

Aliens (1986)

from the Man who brought you Terminator 2 Titanic,avatar and Rambo 2 comes the sequel to alien (1979) now with more focus on the action and the suspense instead of the horror of the original this one will go down in history as one of the greats .

Children of men (2006)

children of men is simply fantastic infact its more than that its hard to describe it is a very very under rated movie that not enough people have seen and that has to change.

Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan (1982)

yes yes i know what your gonna say "thats so overrated" and thats your right all film is subjective. But for me this movie is one of the best it is the original crew at there finest hour there story is told way better in this than in the motion picture and the emotion is high from khans quoting of moby dick to the famed shattner "KHAN" to the many lines of wisdom from spock this movie is a true classic.

Twelve Monkeys (1995) 

This movie is really good with amazing acting from both Willis and Pitt is another underrated classic one of the best movies of the 1990’s and I am proud to have it in my to 10

Blade Runner (1982)

Coming Straight of the heels of his Star Wars Fame Harrison Ford gives another amazing performance is a movie that Makes you as Yourself a few questions that you never thought you would find your self asking based on the equaly brilliant Novel" Do androids dream of electric sheep?" This movie is also known for being the only movie to have more versions that star wars and i am not just talking about endings

Star Wars "he Empire Strikes Back" (1980)

To Many this is not just the best of the Star wars films but the best sci-fi movie of all time and that is pretty much true but it is not number 1 for me as far as sci-fi but 2nd isn't bad i love this movie i have the poster on my wall, i have all the lines in memory and i re watch t at least twice a year.77

Donnie Darko (2001)

What can be said about this movie? Well for one its freaking amazing it is super dark yet supper funny supper hopeful yet super depressing all at once it has amazing dialogue, amazing acting, and a twisted complicated story that leaves you having to watch it again just to see what you missed it is a really under rated movie for the main stream (seems like a theme for this list) and that's why to me it is Number 1
