White House Down review

Roland Emmerich, what can I do without you?

Look, the first half hour or so is just so BORING!!!! And then, when SHIT HITS THE FAN, It's actually quite a lot of fun!!!!!!!

After 30 minutes of backstory (what we didn't need) you get your adrenaline pumped action movie.

The action works and it's quite entertaining.

There is one plot twist that you saw coming but there is another one (No spoiling)

This is a 132 minute movie and it's PURE adrenaline action minus the 30 minutes in the beginning.

When Roland Emmerich is trying to suck you into the world of the white house, it's not working, but when the Capitol blows up, you get sucked in instantly and, that's for the very end.

The film acts a lot like the 1st Die Hard but it's in the white house.

The trailer acts like Jamie Foxx is kicking ass but he only does that at least twice.

There is a lot of Low-budget explosions and I don't think these were necessary because, in 2012, there is a shit-load of HIGH budget explosions and in INDEPENDANCE DAY!

Speaking of Independance Day, there IS a reference to the film in the film and I chuckled.

The trailer also acts like it's an action comedy, but there isn't a lot of comedy.

Overall, it's a movie that you can have a lot of fun with.

IF YOUR BRAIN IS TURNED OFF!!!
