The Hunger Games Catching Fire review

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!!!

The revolution has begun with Catching Fire. This film is much better than the first. Why? First of all, something that I utterly cannot stand. The classic SHAKY CAM. In the very first hunger games, there was some shaky cam. But in this film, there is ZERO shaky cam and I mean ZERO. Which is a good thing.

Second, this film was partially shot with IMAX cameras. Which do help the stunning visuals of the arena. IMAX add much more detail than the picture itself. And the transition from regular to IMAX is just magical.

Third, the film looks better. It's more bright, more colerful than the last hunger games. Because of Plutarch's vision of the arena, we get a better looking and more dangerous arena.

Fourth, two words: STANLEY TUCCI, he just always steals the show as Ceasar Flickerman. He's so funny. Morbidly funny because this is a FIGHT TO THE DEATH.

Also, Donald Sutherland is amazing as President Snow. At the end I gave the finger to the credit when Donald Sutherland's name appeared. Look, Donald Sutherland is one of my favorite actors. Of course he kills it.

Newcomers, Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch, Jeffery Wright as Beetee and Sam Claifin as Finnick did well. Especially Claifin.

As for Jennifer Lawrence, at this point I can't find anyone to portray Katniss because she's so good.

Liam Hemsworth makes his usual 20 seconds scene for the girls to faint.

As for the action. It is better staged and better executed. The action scenes are amazing and out of this world. Be sure to see it in IMAX cause it BOOMS.

SPOILER: Cinna kinda dies because of his MOCKINGAY dress. You know that Snow hates MOCKINGAYS. Plutarch is revealed an Ally. He was a new gamemaker following the death of Seneca Crane but Plutarch Heavensbee was an ally and also Finnick. It was planned all along.

Oh and Katniss expresses herself with a big FUCK YOU to Snow. Not the finger but she flies an arrow that is wired to a tree and the lighting strikes so she can put it on the top of the dome so that douchebag Snow cannot see the game.

This is the best Hunger Games so far. IMAX is the only way to see it.

I want to name my kid Plutarch. This name is so cool.
