I admit it! I have a soft spot for this film. It isn't perfect, it isn't horrible either and to be honest it could have been pulled off a lot better.
In the film Freddy Krueger is trying to resurrect himself; but to no avail. So, to increase his chances he tricks Jason Voorhees and uses him as a decoy to kill people on Elm Street. This causes a stir within the community and many believe it is Freddy doing the killing. What's interesting is that if people forget about Freddy, he cannot kill. This is where Jason helps. Eventually the two come to blows and have an epic fight in the last twenty minutes of the film. Admittedly, the last twenty minutes are the most worthwhile and is the main reason to watch the film. However, the rest of film could have been better. Some great kills nonetheless.
3/5, a film I find myself re-watching a lot, entertaining time waster.
