Oz The Great And Powerful 3D review

http://media2.firstshowing.net/firstshowing/img5/ozgreatandpowerful-thirdposter-full.jpg

Genre: Fantasy
Director: Sam Raimi
Studio: Walt Disney Pictures
Format that i've seen : Disney Digital 3D
MPAA: PG for sequences of action and scary images, and brief mild language
Runtime: 130 minutes

Before I jump in on this review, I will post a video for this movie as well. They will have both different opinions. Usually, i'm fooling around on my videos, so I decided to do Written/Video reviews.

Oz the great and powerful is the story of Oscar Diggs (James Franco) a fake wizard who's got sucked in a tornado and to the land of Oz (Strangely, that's the name of the wizard) then he meets Theodora (Mila Kunis) who's hot as sh*t until she becomes someone else; Evanora (Rachel Weisz) who is kind of a mix between bad acting and young and the restless acting. His sidekicks are Finely (Zach Braff)
a flying monkey, China Girl (Joey King)  and Glinda (Michelle Williams), Knuck AKA Sourpuss (Tony Cox) and finally Master Tinker (Bill Cobbs).

There isn't much going on in the plot 'cause the story is so boring. James Franco is very bland in his performance. I DON'T THINK HE'S OZ!!!!!!! NOT BELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!! Mila Kunis is a wasted character (except that she's hot as sh*t). Rachel Weisz is SO BAD!!!!!!!!! She is like a character in a cheesy cartoon. Zach Braff is AMAZING!!!!! He is very funny as the monkey with a lot of tips. Joey King is terrible in this performance. The thing to bring a china doll in the mix is pointless. Michelle Williams IS OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!! She steals the show, BIG TIME!!!!!!! Tony Cox is alright but he reminds us over and over again that he's NOT A SOURPUSS!!!!!!!!!!! Bill Cobbs, as always, is outstanding.

The 3D is exceptional, one of the best. There is always something coming out right at you wich is a lot of fun for little viewers but gimmicky for older viewers.

Overall, the movie is good (aside for the almost horrendous acting), director Sam Raimi did a good job to begin the movie in a 4:3 aspect ratio in black and white (like the original) and then put it in 16:9 color with OUTSTANDING VISUALS AND 3D!!!!!!! The film very scary for little people who liked the original (it is less scary than the depressing Return To Oz). For older people, it is very nostalgic, and a lot of fun.

I'm gonna give this movie a 4.5/5

Stay tuned for my video review about this film!!!!!!
