Catch Me If You Can Written Review

Genre: Comedy (I found that movie in this section)
Director: Steven Spielberg
Studio: Dreamworks-SKG
Format that i've seen: Blu-ray
MPAA: PG-13 for some sexual content and brief language
Runtime: 141 minutes

One of the few films that Leonardo DiCaprio doesn't die, Catch Me If You Can is considered as one of the best Spielberg film and a cinema classic.

It tells the story of Frank Abagnale Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio) that before his 19th birthday does fake checks from Pan Am to steal money. Later, he becomes a doctor and a lawyer also stealing pay checks. Then, he gets chased by Carl Hanratty (Tom Hanks) who then, Frank plays a game of cat and mouse and he's always one step ahead of him.

The story is good. Let's talk about the main characters. Leo is excellent as Frank jr. , sometimes i'm wondering "are we rooting for him?" but we're not. We're rooting for the cop (Tom Hanks) who seems to be the villain? BUT NO!!!!!!! WE HAVE TO ROOT FOR THE COP!!!!!  Hanks is great in this performance carrying that villainesque performance. Christopher Walken is the right choice for a dad who seems to be starting everything.... Martin Sheen and Nathalie Baye are WASTED for a good performance of the new couple that isn't that believable. But Amy Adams, in the beginning she's ugly but towards the end, SHE'S HOT AS SH*T!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's also Jennifer Garner but she's in there for 2 seconds so F**K IT!!!!!!!

The way that Spielberg directs this film is intriguing. Very complex and a fluid directing with a hypnotic score by John Williams.

Overall, the film is a complex drama/comedy/thriller/2 seconds of action/romance film that is a little bit rough to watch (oh and P.S. THERE ARE SOME CLIPS OF GOLDFINGER) and fun on the edges

I'm Going to give this film a 5/5

Stay tuned for my video review!!!!!
